For the longest time, I created my all my Facebook covers the hard way, by setting the dimensions myself and going from there. When I did that I could never remember the size of Facebook cover photos and I always had to look it up.
I use PicMonkey for all of my photo edits but I never knew that I could create a Facebook cover in PicMonkey until recently.

How to Create a Facebook Cover in PicMonkey
I am so glad that I have found this easy way to create a Facebook cover in PicMonkey, now I can update my cover photos quick and easy any time I need to. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner.
Step 1: Open up any photo or stock photo in PicMonkey
You can open up any photo that you want to use making your Facebook cover photo, I always use stock photos or photos that I have taken.

Step 2: Crop your image
Over on the left side, click the crop symbol and it will open up the crop settings. In the drop down box, choose “Facebook Cover Photo”. Over on the photo, you will see a box, move that to the area of the photo that you want to use and then click “Apply”.
Step 3: Add Text to your Photo
Back over the the left sidebar, click on the Text symbol and it will open up lots of different fonts. Choose your desired font and then click “Add Text. It will populate a box over the photo that you can move, re-size and add text to your photo.
Now that you have created your Facebook cover photo, click save. Now wasn’t that simple?
