Have your ever wondered if having a crazy sense of humor, if people took you seriously?
I wonder that all the time.
I have always thought of me as a person with a sense of humor but some people (whom I think, lack it) look at me like I am crazy. They just don’t know me or know how to take what I said, I guess.
I have been a around a lot of people (strangers, friends or family) who I wonder if they even have any humor in them, they never seem to laugh much or say anything funny. What’s up with that?
At my age, I think it’s a good thing to have a sense of humor or at least do a lot of laughing (hell, please do that any any age!)
Have a Sense of Humor, Sometimes!
Let me give you an example!
I was in a department store not to long ago and there was this lady with her two children. She looked like a nice person (I am sure she was) but not from what I seen.
One of her kids said something to her (which was funny) and I, being the person that I am (talks to almost everyone) commented on it. Now let me tell you one thing, what I said was in no way mean, sarcastic or anything of that nature.
Once I said it, I got a look from her that was not so pretty, I even got a snarl. I wasn’t sure if she was having a bad day (didn’t look like it) or if she thought that the fact that I spoke to her made her mad or if she was too good of a person (high class) to be spoken too. Whatever the reason, I just turned my head and thought, “whatever hun” and went on about my business.
Now, how would that have made you feel?
Me, I just kinda laughed it off, because to me it was funny.
Was I being a bad person?
People just need to have a sense of humor, sometimes. You don’t have to be serious all the time, for crying out loud.
