We sailed on a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise from Galveston with stops in Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. This was our first cruise together with friends, and we booked it about five months in advance.

The only view of my cabin that I captured. These cabins are very nice.

The cabins were very nice and clean. My favorite thing (besides the balcony) was the shower, one of the best showers you can step into and I never wanted to get out.

The spot where I spend lots of time relaxing with a glass of wine or a pina colada.

Thrill seeking rides and entertainment

For those seeking excitement, Harmony of the Seas has it all. You can enjoy the zip line, the FlowRider surf simulator, and the rock-climbing wall. There was also the skydiving simulator or take a plunge in the onboard water parks.

The ship also features Broadway-style shows, live music, and comedy acts to keep you entertained throughout your voyage.

I couldn't do any of the thrill seeking rides but the men did and loved them. I was more into the shows and entertainment.

Ports we visited

We visited ports of Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan, each offering unique cultural experiences and breathtaking scenery.

Harmony of the Seas does provide a variety of shore excursions, allowing you to make the most of your time ashore but we didn't do any. We just enjoyed the scenery, went shopping and headed back to the ship when done.

What I Would Do Differently Next Time

Next time, I would plan the ports a little more ahead of time. We did not book shore excursions and mostly enjoyed the scenery, shopping, and walking around before heading back to the ship.

That worked fine for a relaxed trip, but if you want more adventure, beach time, snorkeling, cultural tours, or organized activities, I would look at excursions before sailing.
