- Santa Hat - Where ever you can find one for $1
- Wood Block - For Base

- Foam Nose - Package of 12 found at Hobby Lobby
- White Pom Poms - Package of 20 found at Hobby Lobby
- Tan, Red and Black Spray Paint - Walmart
- Hot Glue
- Floral wire - Dollar Tree

Instructions: DIY Splatter Screen Santa
Full and easy instructions for securing the splatter screens together can be found by visiting Dollar Tree Splatter Screen Snowman diy.
- Paint the wood block black
- Take 2 splatter screen handles and spray paint them black and the rest of it red.
- Take the 3rd splatter screen and spray paint it tan and the handle red.
- Take the 2 black handles and bend them to glue on to the wood block. (See photo below). Secure the two splatter screens together with floral wire.
- Take the 3rd splatter screen (with red handle) and secure it to the other splatter screen with floral wire. Make sure handle is facing down.
- Cut felt to make belt and eyes.
- Cut red foam nose in half and glue flat onto splatter screen.
- Glue pom poms to make beard (You can also use cotton if you like or what ever you have that might work)
- Place Santa hat on top and glue, if desired.

Safety Tip
Be careful when gluing on the beard and smaller pieces. Adults should handle the hot glue, wire, and any spray painting, especially if kids are helping with the project. Finger protectors can help make this craft safer and easier.

If I was to make this could it be staked down so that it could stand outside?
Hmm, I never thought of that, it's possible. I would make sure it's prepped for the weather first.

I have sprayed my screen with spray paint but it didnt stick do you do something to make paint stick to the screen?
I just had an old can of red spray paint (can't remember the brand) and it worked out great. Are you using one with a primer combo?
