DIY Farmhouse Christmas Ornaments

I’m so amazed at how many things you can make from Dollar Tree, it’s my way of crafting now. Check out these Dollar Tree DIY Farmhouse Christmas Ornaments I found on Pinterest.

I just had to make some of my own to go on my tree.

Been redoing my old ornaments to fit the Farmhouse style and I just knew I had to add these. Have you ever made these ornaments or something like it?

I actually forgot to take photos of the stickers but you can find them in the crafting/floral section at DT.

They come in already formed words but you will just need to cut out each letter that you need and form the words that you want to use on yours.

Materials

  • Clear ball ornaments that come in a set of two. You can get the bigger ones if you like but they come in singles.
  • White spray paint (or any color of your liking) I got mine at Walmart.
  • Main Street Wall Creations Stickers (Words – Chocolate Doesn’t Ask and so on)
  • Jute Rope
  • Ribbon

The first thing I did was spray paint each clear ornament with white spray paint.

While the paint was drying, I cute out my letters and put my words together. The words used are Santa, Cocoa, Noel, HOHOHO and Fa-la-la.

After the paint has dried, I applied my stickers to the ornaments. If you are going to use the same words as I did, you will need to cut the end of the letter “E” to form the letter “F”.

Next, I cut some of the jute rope and tied it around the topper of the ornament. Then I cute long, narrow sections of the ribbon and tied it through the loop, which will be used to hand the ornament from the Christmas tree.

This DIY is extremely simple and fun to do.

I will be adding more to my collection soon and see what other words I can form that have to do with Christmas, such as JOY, LOVE, ect.
