DIY Dollar Tree Linen Closet Organization Idea
In the past when I organized my linen closet, it was not this good. I decided this time I was going to do it without spending a lot of money and do a Dollar Tree Linen Closet Organization.
How often do you organize your linen closet? I think I have organized mine twice in ten years, pitiful huh?
If you look at the top two photos below (top two shelves), my linen closet was a mess. There where things in there that I had no clue where they came from or how old they where.
Threw everything out that I didn’t need or use.

The bottom shelf was where I put all towels, hand towels and washcloths. Basically, they were just folded and thrown on the shelf, it was a mess.
On the floor was toilet paper, old purses and whatever else might have got stashed in there. It’s a sad story, I know.

I had been looking online for awhile on how to organize this closet on the cheap instead of just cleaning it once in awhile (which wasn’t working).
I finally went into a few Dollar Tree’s and gathered many different types of baskets with handles to put everything in.
I am loving the little laundry looking baskets but they didn’t have many colors to choose from.

Started folding all of the washcloths and hand towels and put them into two of the baskets.
I didn’t realize how many hand towels I had until I started organizing, guess you can’t have to many.

Folded and rolled up all of the bath towels and placed them into the little laundry baskets, I have two of them.
There are more towels than what they will hold but seems half of them are always dirty.

With the one individual brown square basket, I placed it on the floor and put all of the extra bath tissue in there. It’s looks so much better than just throwing the whole package in there on the floor.

I had three white plastic containers with handles and placed everything else in those. One has rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer and peroxide.
Another one has lotions and empty spray bottles and the other one has paper products and everything else such as small trash bags, makeup clothes dusting clothes, ect.

The very top shelf is where I keep a small stockpile of things I buy for them home.
I am a couponer sometimes and love having things I need on hand instead of forgetting them and not having them when I need them and paying full price.
Sometimes when I have the extra stuff, I have a bad habit of just throwing them in this closet and not knowing what I have, that habit is about to stop.

There are so many different types of containers, baskets and more that you can find at Dollar Tree for organization.
I get so overwhelmed in there because I never know what to grab or use, so I grab a few of many different styles and colors.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get things organized the way you want it. You can even paint the containers to make them match your decor style in your home.
You can also add labels to the containers so that you know what each one contains. There are so many ideas you can try.
