Who would have thought that you can take just a few simple items and make something as cute as this to decorate your home for Christmas. I am very excited about this Snowman Hat Centerpiece.
I have so many decorations that I put out every year that I have gotten at stores or resale shops but I am loving the ones I make myself so much more.
One of these snowman hats will look so cute on my dining room table for the Holidays.

This is another DIY that I found on Pinterest and fell in love with it and decided I wanted to make one to put in my home.
Let me tell how you can create this quick and simple craft for yourself.

Supplies – Snowman Hat Centerpiece
- Large Coffee Can – Cleaned and dried
- Plate – Glass or Plastic
- Burlap Ribbon
- Floral decor
- Black Spray Paint – Walmart
- Hot Glue

Instructions – Snowman Hat Centerpiece
- You can get any round platter or plate as you wish from the Dollar Tree, they do have some glass ones that are black. I didn’t want glass, so I grabbed a plastic one and painted it.

- Spray paint the can and plate black and let dry. Once these dried, I did spray them with a Mod Podge Sealer to make them shiny and last longer (Optional).
- Next, hot glue the the can to the plate, let dry.
- Once done, just hot glue your burlap ribbon (or any ribbon that you choose to use) around the can and add the decor and that’s it. Wasn’t that easy peasy?
Let me know in the comments, will you be making one of these snowman hats to add to your Christmas decor?

I just wanted to let you know I did make a hat out of the coffee can and a record for the base at the bottom and I also put felt around the coffee cans so you didn't see the lines and it came out fantastic I already sold it and hope to make a couple more thank you for showing me this idea.

This looks great and I can’t wait to make it. What other large sized cans would you recommend using?

Thank you so much. You can use any can out there, I just always have the big coffee cans on hand. You can also make smaller versions with small coffee cans or even the cans foods, just get smaller versions of saucers or can lids for the bottom part of the hats. Hmm, now that give me an idea lol
