DIY Donuts in the Power Air Fryer

Do you have an air fryer? If you do, you probably cook many things in it like I have started doing. I just got my air fryer and I want to show you how to make donuts in the Power Air Fryer Oven.

I was so excited about getting this Power air fryer pro oven for Christmas, I had wanted one for a very long time.

I only cook for 2 people and this works great more lot’s of things that I want to cook quickly.

Starting out with some simple easy to do air fryer recipes, I choose to make these donuts first.

We don’t eat donuts very often because they are so sugary and unhealthy.

Now, I know these are not healthy either but you can choose how much sugar you want when making them.

These are so simple to make when you do want donuts and I found them to be very delicious.

Most air fryer recipes that I come across for these donuts use the flaky biscuits, I don’t care for them so I got the regular butter flavored ones.

The butter that is in these biscuits just make them so much more tastier in my opinion.

I didn’t add the info in for cooking the donut holes, it’s basically the same process, just less time.

I have a confession to make though….

I ate one glazed and one chocolate one while the donut holes were cooking, I am so pitiful. I loved them so much more than going to a donut shop.

  1. Has anyone tried making donuts in your air fryer using a biscuit recipe instead of the canned biscuits? I have the PowerAirFryer but no canned biscuits. I don’t plan on running to the store to get biscuits during a pandemic.

    1. I have never done it by making my own dough but I am sure someone has. I would search over on Pinterest and see what you can find. I hope you come across something 🙂
