Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings for a Texas Game Day at Home

There is just something about a big platter of chicken wings that feels right in a Texas kitchen. Whether it is a Friday night at home, a family get-together, game day, or one of those evenings when you want something bold and full of flavor, these Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings bring the perfect mix of sweet heat and zesty bite.

This recipe has that crispy, sticky, messy-in-the-best-way flavor that works for casual weekends, backyard hangs, or serving up something fun when friends stop by. Around Texas, food is part of the gathering, and these wings fit right in with that laid-back, crowd-feeding kind of lifestyle.

A friend shared this recipe with me to try and it was a hit with the hubby.

I am not a fan of hot and spicy things so I didn't try this but he said he wasn't that hot (I don't believe that), look at the ingredients.

If you give this recipe a try, please come back and let me know how you like it. I am sure this is something you can make for the Super Bowl.

Also, my friend (a realtor) that shared this recipe with me, I credited her at the bottom of this post, go give her a follow and check her out if you are in the Ft. Worth/Dallas TX area.

If you happen to have some of the sauce left over like I did, don't throw it out, use it for dipping if you don't want to pour more over the chicken.
